Nice rural location, could be much better with a few very easy improvements
Positive: We liked the cleanliness and the rural and quiet location Negative: The instructions to find the place were unclear. 64 uphill stairs to get from the street to the door. There was not enough toilet paper or kitchen consumables for cleaning. The furniture was not particularly comfortable and the hot water supply was poor. The check in process was remote, via WhatsApp but bordered on aggressive if you didn’t reply immediately

Really lovely apartment with a balcony where you have a panorama view of the valley and the ocean. On some days you can see Tenerife in the horizon. Beautiful sunsets from here. The house has all you need. Good rooms with great storage, useful kitchen with all the utensils you need, washing room and toilet with shower. You do need to cooperate a bit if you are several people to keep the showers short so that everyone can enjoy hot water. The communication with the host was very clear and friendly. We stayed for one week with a rented car. Close by is Agaete which has a local vibe and great adventurous pools in the ocean. From this location you can easily access the mountainous parts of the island. Just be prepared for a zigzag trip. / Hannes

Lovely stay at Solarium Agaete Valley Retreat
My friends and I stayed at the Solarium Agaete Valley Retreat during the TransGranCanaria race, and it was an absolute pleasure. The house offered stunning mountain views from the terrace, and we were treated to the sight of Teide on Tenerife in the clear skies on the horizon. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely place to stay as a family with 3 generations enjoying the property together.
Positive: The Location was great, Hosts very adaptable when my son joined us at the last minute. We stayed in Dec/jan over new year, the accommodation is up a lot of stairs but this is clearly explained. Housing estate was quiet, Balcony great for sunbathing and eating. Close to other flats and houses but still quiet. The rooms were good size and there were clothes washing facilities. A large fridge and freezer was useful and a coffee machine. there were plenty of towels in the apartment. Plenty of on road parking outside property and in estate. quick drive down to the Salinas (outdoor sea swimming pools) and great fish restaurants in the village of Agaete. Close to walking tracks in the hills. Negative: There was only air con in one double room and living room. If it was in the summer months the back bedrooms would definitely need air con. Needed an outdoor airing rack for towels to dry outside. though there was a fitted indoor one.

Me and my friend had a wonderful stay. We found exactly what we were looking for, a quiet place to rest up, with beautiful surroundings and the possibility to do hikes. Some feedback, the description to find the apartment could be a bit more clear. Now we were just lucky to pick the right staircase when searching for the apartment. Overall we are very happy with our stay!

Reichlich Platz für 2 im Agaete-Valley
Positive: Riesige Terrasse mit viel Sonneneinfall (trotz Bergen), Sonnenschirme bei Bedarf vorhanden. Zugang zur Terrasse vom Wohn- und Hauptschlafzimmer. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung und Handtücher. Parkplatz immer zu finden. Waschmaschine und Trockenraum. Vielfältige Wandermöglichkeiten. Ruhige Lage (bis auf Hundekläffen). Das tolle Restaurant gleich unten an der Straße :-) Negative: Das Bett im schönen Schlafzimmer (mit Terrassenzugang), welches wir natürlich nutzen wollten, war leider durchgelegen. Der Eingang zur gesamten Anlage und das Treppenhaus sind ein wenig runtergekommen. Die Kommunikation erfolgte mit einer zwischengeschalteten Agentur, auch der Check-In. Zwar verlässlich und schnell, aber ein bisschen umständlich. Viele Nachrichten, Anrufe, whatsapp, mails, teils automatisiert, wiederholt, überflüssig und nicht zutreffend oder unnötig. Dies könnte optimiert werden.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit einem tollen Ausblick
Positive: Die Lage und der Ausblick. Der Zustand der Wohnung und die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Negative: Die Möbel auf dem Balkon sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ein wirklich unangenehmer Hund des Bewohners unter dieser Wohnung war doch sehr störend. Er bellte sehr viel, auch wenn er nach einigen Minuten vom Hundehalter hereingerufen wurde. Nach ca 10 min durfte er wieder heraus und bellte, sowie er ein Wort hörte - das Spiel ging von vorne los. Er benutzte außerdem den Balkon für seine Hundehaufen. Der Halter hat den Haufen auch recht lange liegen gelassen. Sehr unangenehm. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer recht kleinen Wohnanlage, die jetzt sehr renovierungsbedürftig ist, ebenso die Häuser/Wohnanlagen in der Nachbarschaft. Wir hörten den ganzen Tag Baulärm: Bohrhammer, Fliesenschneider usw.

Extrem hellhörige Bettenburg
Positive: Das geräumige Apartment wirkt frisch renoviert, ist durchgängig gefliest und mit hochwertigen Einbaumöbeln ausgestattet. Bis auf die zahlreichen Fliegen macht die Wohnung einen sehr sauberen Eindruck. Ein Plus auch der praktische Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und ausziehbarem Trockengestell, die Wäsche trocknet innerhalb weniger Stunden. Die Betten sind bequem, der Wohn/Essbereich zweckmäßig gestaltet. Ein Schlafzimmer hat eine Schiebetür zur Terrasse, die anderen beiden im hinteren Teil der Wohnung haben keine Fenster. Die Küche ist für eine Ferienwohnung gut ausgestattet, das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Ein weiteres Highlight zweifellos die große Terrasse nach Südwesten, grandioser Blick über das fruchtbare Tal und die schroffen Felswände der Tamadaba, im Nordwesten Agaete und der Atlantik, bei klarer Sicht ist der Teide auf Teneriffa gut auszumachen. Negative: Wer hier ruhige Abgeschiedenheit in ländlicher Idylle erwartet, dürfte allerdings eine Enttäuschung erleben. Das Apartment liegt mitten in einem fünfstöckigen, in den Steilhang gebauten Wohnkomplex an einer schmalen Wohnstraße. Von dieser sind es 64 steile Stufen zur Wohnung, für geübte Wanderer kein Problem, Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität könnten das anders beurteilen. Zwei weitere kleine Minuspunkte: 1. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war schwach ausreichend, läuft gleichzeitig woanders Wasser (Spülkasten WC), bricht er zusammen. 2. Müllcontainer 200 m die Straße runter. Hauptproblem Hellhörigkeit: Auf der Terrasse links und rechts teils sehr laute Nachbarn, von unten ständiges Hundegebell (tagsüber von der Terrasse, nachts aus der Wohnung). Aufgrund mangelnder Dämmung hört man nachts jeden Schritt und jedes Klappern aus der oberen Wohnung. Das Treppenhaus wirkt wie ein großer Schalltrichter.

Positive: Vi var meget tilfredse med lejligheden. Der var alt i køkkenudstyr. Skøn terrasse. God seng. Meget rent. Negative: Der var IKKE mange myg og fluer, men et net for døren kunne være dejligt, så dørene kunne står åben om natten, istedet for at bruge aircondition.

Positive: Ruim en zeer proper appartement met een groot terras en prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Rustig gelegen in een doodlopende straat, maar toch niet ver van Agaete al is een wagen hier wel noodzakelijk. Ruime keuken met alle benodigdheden aanwezig. Parkeren is op straat en je moet wel wat trappen doen om bij de accommodatie te komen, maar je krijgt dan wel een prachtig uitzicht in de plaats Negative: niets

Nuestra estancia fue muy positiva. Nos habíamos quedado otras veces en el Valle de Agaete, sitio ideal para desconectar del estrés de la ciudad, y lo cierto es que la ubicación de esta vivienda no tiene nada que desmerecer al resto de lugares en los que hemos estado. La casa estaba muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para estar unos días en familia, con amigos o solo con tu pareja. Agradecer mucho a Sleepaways por su amabilidad antes, durante y posterior a la estancia. Siempre estuvieron muy atentos y resolutivos. Los recomiendo al 100%

Super Aussicht bei gutem Wetter. Große Terrasse, große Wohnung
Positive: Es gab eine sehr große Terrasse, die Aussicht war sehr gut. Viele Schlafzimmer, Bettenauswahl war gut. Negative: Das hat nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun- oder nur indirekt: die Lage ist direkt am Fuße eines Berges, dort bleiben oft die Wolken hängen. Das ist- zumindest in den Wintermonaten- eher ein Nachteil. Bei gutem Wetter ist die Aussicht grandios.
